May 12, 2026"First time here and wasn't disappointed. We booked a table for 6 to celebrate my wife birthday. On arrival the table was set for 4. The staff quickly rectified the situation and the celebrations began. The menu was varied and vegetarians were accommodated. The set menu at 29€ is very reasonably priced and good quality. The specials board were explained in detail by the friendly and attentive staff. The wine and Cognac selection is extensive. The location is perfect, on the banks of the Charente opposite the Hennessey building. The staff made my wife feel very special and the whole experience was wonderful. Excellent food and service."

May 08, 2026"I'm Italian and because of that is sometimes hard for me to find a good restaurant abroad. But this place surpassed my expectations. Plates were really amazing , service was good too and the prices were not crazy in relation to the quality (in 4 people we all took appetizers, main course, dessert, a bottle of wine and water and the total was around 56€ each). Just look at the plate presentations... Really loved it and I'm going back this evening too."
